Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much is a consult?
A: The charge for a phone consult is $65.
An in-person or Zoom consult is $85.
Q: How long is a consult?
A: A consult lasts 30-60 minutes, until we have answered all your questions
Q: Can you just tell me how much it will be to do my paperwork?
A: No, not without a consult because immigration law is very fact-specific and we need to understand your entire circumstances before we can offer you advice or price information.
Q: How long will my process take?
A: We will cover this in the consultation, but currently Immigration is moving extremely slowly. Please think in terms of months and years, not days and weeks.
Q: Why should I use a lawyer, why not just a notary?
A: Because immigration law is complex and a seemingly simple mistake or oversight now can have drastic consequences in the future. When you use a notary or someone not trained as a lawyer to just prepare your forms, you are robbing yourself of the security and peace of mind which you seek in filing your immigration paperwork in the first place. If you do not hire us, please hire another reputable immigration lawyer or U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Accredited Representative from a DOJ Accredited Nonprofit Organization to handle your case.
Q: Can you handle my case if I am not able to come to your office? If I live far away?
A: Of course! As an immigration attorney, we have clients from around the world, including Australia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Central and South America. We also work with clients from just up the street. We can work over the phone, email, Zoom, or WhatsApp to handle your matter.
